Greig’s Restaurant was established by Mr Alistair Greig, the highly acclaimed restaurateur from the 1950s.
Mr Greig gained a reputation for serving the best steaks in London. His hallmark dish was a prime Scotch fillet steak sourced from a family butcher and cooked to order on a traditional coal grill.
Located in the heart of Mayfair, off Berkeley Square, Greig’s Restaurant continues to uphold Alistair Greig’s tradition of top quality steaks and British food, more than half a century later.
The a la carte and set menus have recently been updated while still offering all the restaurant’s most popular British dishes. Today Greig's uses the same top quality family butcher supplying Scottish and English steaks hung for a minimum of two weeks.
Greig's wine cellar contains up to 3000 bottles at any given time, including over 120 different Bordeaux, a good selection of Burgundy, Ports and Champagne wines. We also carry a smaller number of selected world wines. Our wine club offers top quality vintages at cost/auction house prices. In most cases there is no charge to join.
Greig’s was fully refurbished between 2003 and early 2005 and now features 3 immaculately appointed private dining rooms, catering for 8-10 (The Wine Room), 16-18 (The Oak Room)
and 20-40 (The Main Room) guests.
