Set in the heart of residential Chelsea, a short walk from the famous Kings Road, The Phene is a clubhouse-style venue, housing a traditional saloon bar, chalet-style delicatessen, a conservatory restaurant and cosy upstairs Lounge. The Phene restaurant offers an exclusively seasonal menu and light and delectable deli bites, whilst the Phene bar has a carefully considered wine list, impressive selection of beers and ciders and a creative array of cocktails. The Phene’s piece de resistance is the stunning Phene Garden. Complete with comfortable sofas and quirky hanging basket chairs, enjoy lunch, dinner and drinks in this beautiful outdoor retreat, thoroughly warmed and protected by state-of-the-art infrared heated parasols and real outdoor fireplaces. Lit by Droog chandeliers and theatrical silk shaded lamps, the The Phene bar boasts stunning high ceilings, quirky bookshelves filled with sentimental ornaments that depict Old and New Chelsea and a cosy library designed snug area. Focused on simple, classic favourites, The Phene offers a diverse menu of locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Dishes regularly change to reflect the seasonal produce we use and range from lighter daytime fare such as Eggs Benedict, fresh, superfood salads and homemade savoury tarts, to more substantial dinner options such as pan seared sea bass and slow cooked venison. On weekends we serve a traditional brunch menu that includes a full English breakfast and hot chocolate waffles with the addition of a hearty British Roast on Sundays. Throughout the day we offer bar snacks & sharing platters such as edamame beans with chilli and soy dipping pots and our Deli board of seasonal cured meats with fresh bread, chutney, sun blush tomatoes, pickled onions and cornichons. The Phene menu caters for the day you desire a full three course meal with the family, or a quick snack with a friend. |
