Cavallino in Italian means “the little horse” which is appropriate as one of the principle shareholders and driving forces behind the restaurant is Frankie Dettori M.B.E. When the premises became available Frankie and his fellow shareholders decided immediately that this would be the home to his greatest ambition outside the saddle.
We hope that each guest enjoys every visit they make. Our main aspiration is to provide the customer with the best food and service available in the Chelsea area. All the dedicated Cavallino staff are highly experienced and passionate about Italian cuisine. We are excited to have Italian head chef Roberto Bortolotto along with his enthusiastic team in the kitchen, bringing authentic Italy to Chelsea, Sydney Street.
Our menus have a perfect balance of fresh and innovative Italian dishes along with all of the old Italian favourites! Our produce is always fresh, everything is made and baked on the premises, leading to deliciously clean and fresh flavoured dishes; even our breadsticks are made fresh every day. Cavallino restaurant is a unique experience whilst retaining the fun and atmosphere associated with Italian Dining.
